Star Wars Weekends 2007: Big Figs and other news
2007 marks the 30th anniversary of the first film released in the Star Wars saga. So expectations are high for this year’s Star Wars Weekends at Disney-MGM Studios.
StarWars.com has just posted a picture of four Disney/Star Wars Big Figs that will be released this year. They’ll go great with the Jedi Mickey that was released at last year’s event.

Second Founder Leaves Flock
Geoffrey Arone, the co-founder of silicon valley based Flock, is leaving the company to become an Entrepreneur in Residence at Bessemer Venture Partners (one of the original Flock investors). The other co-founder, former CEO Bart Decrem, left Flock late last year.

Lawsuit Settled In Death Of Woman Who Rode Disneyland Ride
A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit against The Walt Disney Co. brought by the heirs of Cristina Moreno, according to their attorney, prompting the cancellation of Thursday’s scheduled pretrial motions and the start of jury selection on Friday.

Alton Towers’ restaurants fail inspection
MOST of the restaurants at top theme park Alton Towers were filthy, a damning report revealed yesterday. Fifteen of the 19 outlets failed to come up to scratch during an inspection by food hygiene experts at the theme park. Just four were found to be up to standard.
