Murdoch ‘in talks’ on Yahoo deal
Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation is considering selling social networking site MySpace to internet search company Yahoo, the Times newspaper has claimed.
The News Corp-owned newspaper said its parent firm was mulling offering some of its internet assets to Yahoo as part of a broader deal.
The Times said that News Corp would want a 25% stake in Yahoo in return for MySpace, which it bought for $580m.

I think MySpace may be being over valued here, with a 25% stake in Yahoo being worth $12bn, I think they’re going to have to offer a lot more than myspace for the stake, Unless yahho really is that desperate to get its hands on the number of users.
However, I’m not sure whether yahoo may have an interest in Bebo as the search engine, previously run by Google has recently appeared as being run by Yahoo.
